Pre-school education is an important link between early childhood education and basic education. During the year of free pre-school education, a child learns a huge number of skills they will need when going to school the following year.
In January every year, all children turning six that year and their families will receive a letter either electronically or by mail, informing them about the organisation of pre-school education and how to apply for a place.
